PA/Senior Administrator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Administrator/PA for a small charity
based in Croydon to provide full support service to the director. It is a 24 weeks
temp position with the possibility for extension; the hours are 8am till 5pm daily. All
staff members are expected to work some evenings and weekends at least one per
month. All applicants are expected to have advanced knowledge of MS Excel,
word, PowerPoint, access, Outlook. Some knowledge of Mac computers, have a
typing speed of 70wpm as well as at least two years experience working as a
PA/Senior administrator. Previous experience with document control is an
advantage. Your duties will include: typing, faxing answering calls, diary
management, taking minutes, data entry into excel spreadsheets, sage accounting,
sending out correspondence on behalf of TheCause, compiling reports, maintaining
filing system, producing reports, monitoring projects and keeping them in schedule
and ordering stationery.

Volunteers

Volunteers with own vehicle willing to travel and attend workshops are
needed. This will involve working some evenings and weekends on our
newest Project, TheyCame TheyStayed.

Hours: Variable
TheCause2000 have a management committee of 4 members who have a range of
skills, experience, qualities and knowledge, ranging from Management, Accounting,
and Education backgrounds. The management committee oversee the organisation,
monitoring its overall performance and progress as it seeks to achieve its aims and
objectives...

Community volunteers

TheyCame TheyStayed project interviewing people who came here during the 40's,
50's and 60's as to why they came and why they stayed. We will be using this
information to help bridge gaps between the young and the old. Young people are in
need of some role models to assist with making their life more positive and
encourage them to set goals for the future.

Interviewing and to learn from their elders to become more positive as they move into
the future.
